CS2 SMG Run-and-Gun Meta: MP9 vs MAC-10 Accuracy Cones on Eco Rounds

Run-and-Gun Accuracy Cones in Counter-Strike 2

Unlike rifles which suffer catastrophic accuracy penalties while moving, Sub-Machine Guns in CS2 maintain exceptionally tight bullet spread cones during full sprint. This makes the MP9 ($1,250) and MAC-10 ($1,050) lethal weapons for punishing eco rounds.

Scoring 3 kills with an MP9 yields $1,800 in bounties-exceeding the base cost of the weapon itself. In modern CS2 meta, tier-1 CT teams regularly purchase two MP9s on Round 2 after winning pistol to rapidly finance full AWP buys for Round 4.
